    The Book

Statistical bioinformatics is the study of large biological data sets obtained by new micro-technologies by means of proper statistical methods. The group consists of a number of individual researchers from the Department of Statistics. We focus on the creation of generic methods, rather than analyzing particular data sets, but we do collaborate with a large number of practicioners in the field of biology and medicine.

The Book: Statistics for Microarrays by E. C. Wit and J. D. McClure.
