Software

Software associated with the book, but which can be used independently of it, is available under a licence which is similar to the GNU General Public Licence. The most up-to-date version of the software is available in the R environment as the 'sm' package which can be downloaded from the CRAN repository in the standard manner.

For each new release, a short history explains the differences from earlier versions.
